JOB REF 1002 TITLE: Conditioning Technician: Senior Supervisor
REPORTS TO: VP of Field Services
SUPERVISES: Team of Mechanical Craft technician
JOB PURPOSE: HEAD MECHANICAL TEAM
To provide skilled work in the installation, repair, operation, and maintenance of Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (AC) equipment and systems at various stations of the Bank.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Carries out preventive maintenance of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment and systems.
• Repairs faulty Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment and Plant.
• Carries out routine checks and logs of the status of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment.
• Requisitions for materials required for the smooth operation of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment.
• Assists in verification of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning spares purchased/supplied.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES
• Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician Page
• Ensure that the Air Conditioning system is ON at the right time.
• Trouble-shoot Air Conditioning equipment malfunctions, diagnose problems and perform maintenance on Refrigeration & Air Conditioning equipment.
• Manage the safety of the Air Conditioning Plant rooms and workshops
• Make recommendations to replace equipment if expected cost to repair exceeds possible replacement cost.
• Make minor installation decisions
• Perform regular cleaning of the equipment.
• Maintain job worksheets detailing nature of assignment, parts utilized, time expended and type of work performed.
• Collect data for reports.

QUALIFICATION:
• An Ordinary Diploma in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning with 5 years experience in Heavy Central Air Conditioning Plant.
• A Higher Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is an added advantage.
• Valid Drivers License with clean record
• Ability to pass E-Verification and Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening
• 5 years experience in heavy Central Air Conditioning Plant.
• Mature, energetic and quick-witted
• Ability to work independently and for long hours

JOB PURPOSE: OPERATE WITH PLUMBING TEAM
To perform journeyman’s level duties in the installation, maintenance, modification, and/or repair of air, gas, water, steam, and waste disposal systems.

Job Description
1. Follows all rules and procedures as required by Maintenance Operations.
2. Cuts, threads, assembles and installs pipes; connects valves; caulks joints; and tests finished job by allowing water to flow through.
3. Installs gas, water, steam, and sanitary fixtures and equipment with their supports, hangers, or foundations.
4. Assembles lead pipe sections and fittings, and hangs or lays them in position.
5. Analyzes defects or malfunctions in the plumbing systems; eliminates leaks by repacking valves or replacing faulty fittings or sections in lines; replaces worn parts and performs similar duties necessary to correct the problem.
6. Responsible for completing all data where applicable for closing work orders daily.
7. Willing to be on-call in case of emergency.
8. Performs related duties and responsibilities as requested by the Director or Foreman.
